Notice Concerning Exhibit at 10th Highly-functional Film Expo

(Headquarters: Kobe, Hyogo, Japan) will exhibit at the 10th Highly-functional Film Expo to be held at Makuhari Messe from December 4 (Wed.) to 6 (Fri.), 2012. At this year's exhibition, we will introduce "Free Crystal®", a transparent adhesive (OCA) for optical use, "Free Crystal®", a self-healing sheet for optical use, and "BANDO DEC-20®", a simple foreign matter measurement tool.
Transparent adhesive for optical use (OCA)
Free Crystal®.
With a thickness of 300 to 2000 μm, this ultra-thick film offers both high adhesive performance and flexibility. In curved displays, which is a trend in automotive displays, it reduces LCD display irregularities while meeting the reliability requirements for automotive applications.
Self-healing sheets for optical applications
Free Crystal®.
Self-healing sheet for optical use with high flexibility and self-healing properties, which can be flexed 300,000 times (radius of curvature 0.5 mm) in a bending test. (5mm), without any streaks, and pencil hardness of 3H.
It combines flexibility and robustness, which have been challenges for folderable smartphone cover materials.
Simple foreign object measurement tool
BANDO DEC-20®.
Portable, easy-to-operate, and capable of directly measuring objects in a clean room, it can measure the size, amount, and location of foreign particles larger than 20 µm, making it an effective tool for controlling falling dust.
