(Headquarters: Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture) announces the development and marketing of TECLEAR® EGS-T, a thin-film polyethylene film for decorative materials that reduces CO₂ emissions and waste throughout its life cycle from production to disposal, as an environmentally friendly product.

1. Background and Aim of Development
In recent years, there has been a growing need for environmental preservation even in films for decorative materials. To meet this need, we have utilized advanced calendering technology and material design technology that enables high filling of functional fine particles. The thickness of the film is 55 μm, which is approximately 20% thinner than conventional products, while maintaining the surface smoothness and opacity required for films used in building materials. In addition, by reviewing the design of materials, the amount of materials used was reduced by approximately 20% compared to conventional products, resulting in a 13.5% reduction in CO₂ emissions over the life cycle from production to disposal by the customer. 5% reduction and a 10% reduction in waste volume.

2. Product Features
　(1) Industry's thinnest film
The product has excellent thickness accuracy and surface accuracy by utilizing advanced calendering technology. The ability to fill the film with pigments and other functional particles makes it possible to achieve the thinnest film in the industry, while maintaining the same level of opacity as conventional products.
　(2) Promote ECO
emissions of 13.5% of CO₂ emissions in the lifecycle from manufacturing to disposal at the customer. 5% reduction, 10% reduction in waste volume (our evaluation).
　(3) Increased design flexibility
A variety of colors and embossed patterns enable various design expressions. Also, because it is the thinnest film in the industry, the thickness of TOP Transparent Film can be designed with greater freedom, allowing for greater freedom in the design of designs and functionality.
　(4) Flexibility
Flexibility in width, length, lot size, and delivery date is possible.
