Corporation (Head Office: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President: Yuji Honda) have been awarded the "Grand Prize" of the 2020 Partner Award by the Materials Procurement Department of Nippon Steel Corporation. The presentation ceremony was held on June 14, 2021 at the head office of Bando Chemical Co.
About the Partner Recognition Award
The Partner Award was established in fiscal year 2015 by Nippon Steel Corporation's Machinery & Equipment Procurement Department to recognize approximately 3,000 partner companies with whom Nippon Steel Corporation has regular and continuous business relationships. The awards are presented to partners who have contributed to improvements in the company's quality, technological development capabilities, cost competitiveness, etc., as a token of our appreciation and in the hope of further deepening partnerships and stimulating a wide range of outstanding improvement proposals.
The award was given in recognition of the company's development of high-performance products such as the new non-adhesive belt "Easy Release® NEO" for conveyor belts used to transfer raw fuel at steel mills, which have greatly contributed to stable operations through reduced on-site work, cost-competitive proposals, and a high level of quality and delivery.
