2. Background and Aim of Development
As a new added function for the use in financial equipment to transport banknotes and cards, we have developed a toothed belt with improved oil resistance against grease that adheres to polymer banknotes and cards made of synthetic resin material.
3.New Product Features
(1) Newly developed rubber improves oil resistance by 10% compared to the clean specification in the conventional lineup and by 20% compared to the UVE specification, and prevents swelling of the belt due to oil, etc.
(2) Flexibility is improved by 30% compared to the clean specification to reduce the start-up torque required for banknote and card transfer, and is equivalent in flexibility to the UVE specification.
(3) Newly developed rubber maintains a high coefficient of friction, which also improves the clamping force for transporting banknotes and cards compared to the clean and UVE specifications.
The values are expressed as an index value based on our measurement results.
