FR-BIOS™ Flame, Heavy Oil Resistant Conveyor Belts

Conveyor belt with heavy oil resistance and abrasion resistance added to conventional flame resistance

Biomass power plants need to feed (conveyance) coal, wood, and PKS (coconut shell)* as fuels. Since these fuels are highly combustible and flammable, thorough preparation against accidental fires is required.
As a specialized manufacturer of conveyor belts, we have developed this product based on our belief that flame-resistant belts are necessary to reduce the risk of fire in plants and minimize damage in the event of a fire.
The belt's excellent oil resistance prevents fuel oil from seeping into the belt during use, thus maintaining the belt's flame resistance. In addition, its excellent abrasion resistance ensures safe use.

*PKS:
PKS is the shell part of palm palm, which is a crop residue waste generated in the process of palm oil production. With its low moisture content and high calorific value, it has been attracting attention as a biomass fuel in recent years.

Features

Realization of heavy oil resistance and abrasion resistance
Heavy oil resistance: Volume change in the immersion test in palm oil was +1.5%. 4% (for ordinary RUBBER (JIS-G) + 86.5%)(1%) and has excellent oil resistance.
Abrasion resistance: 36% improvement in abrasion resistance compared to ordinary rubber (JIS-G).

Excellent flame resistance
Conforms to JIS flame retardant standard (JIS K 6324:2013).

Impact Bar AR, Non-spill

The Impact Bar AR is an impact cushioning material for conveyor belts that are subjected to loads not by the rollers (rotating bodies) but by the "surface" of the conveyor belt, reducing belt deflection that occurs between the rollers. In combination with the "non-spill" skirt rubber, which is shaped to follow the angle of the carrier rollers and troughs to prevent cargo spillage, the chute section can further prevent falling ore and dust.

SUNPAT ECO™ Cold Splicing Materials for Rubber Conveyor Belt

SUNPAT ECO™ used for conveyor belt room temperature vulcanization has high adhesive performance and excellent flexural fatigue resistance. Because it can be easy to dry it up, operating the belt will become possible in two hours after splicing work (ambient temperature: 20±5℃) .
Since it is vulcanized at room temperature, a heavy vulcanizing press is not required, which saves labor.
