Begins sales of Ceptor®-X Plus toothed belt for heavy loads

Bando Chemical Co., Ltd. announces the addition of the Ceptor®-Ⅹ Plus to its Ceptor® series of toothed belts for heavy loads, and the start of sales in September 2021. The new product will be on sale from September 2021.
1. Name: Ceptor®-Ⅹ Plus toothed belt for heavy loads
2. Background and Aim of Development
Injection molding machines and other machines that are required to handle high loads are demanding higher precision and output, and the quality requirements for toothed belts are also increasing. In response, we have developed a new high-load toothed belt with improved wear resistance and transmission capacity compared to the conventional "Ceptor®-X" by utilizing our core technologies of rubber material compounding, dispersion, and compositing, as well as its processing.
3. New Product Features
(1) Long life
The use of high-hardness, high-elasticity materials improves wear resistance, and tooth chipping durability is approximately 25% higher than that of Ceptor®-X.
(2) High transmission and compact size
The use of high hardness and high elasticity materials improves the transmission capacity by approximately 10% compared to Ceptor®-X. The improved transmission capacity allows the use of narrower belt widths compared to Ceptor®-X.
(3) Low noise
The narrower belt also reduces noise during drive.
(4)Standard pulleys can be used
The same tooth profile as the standard STS belt allows use with standard pulleys of the same geometry.
