Bando Chemical Co., Ltd. (Head office: Kobe, Hyogo, Japan) is pleased to announce that in preparation for the April 2022 sales launch of C-STRETCH MEASURE, a simple measurement kit using the C-STRETCH® elastic strain sensor, the company is now accepting orders for "inquiries about the product" and "C-STRETCH MEASURE". We are pleased to announce that we will start accepting orders for the product.
This "C-STRETCH MEASURE" is an elastic sensor that detects the magnitude of areal elongation such as length and area.®In addition to the "0.5" element, a transmitter, analog output unit, and cables are included in the kit, and a dedicated application allows the size of the extension to be reduced to 0.5 mm. Measurements can be made to the nearest 1 mm. This kit makes it easier to perform various R&D and evaluations.

1. Background and Aim of Development
Since July 2015, we have been selling the "C-STRETCH KIT-BT01," an R&D kit using the C-STRETCH® elastic strain sensor, and in the course of using it for a wide range of applications, we gathered customer feedback and developed the "C-STRETCH MEASURE," a simple measurement kit with easier measurement and improved body-following capability. We have developed the "C-STRETCH MEASURE," a simple measurement kit that is easier to measure and more closely follows the body, based on customer feedback.
2. Product Features
(1)Possible to measure in length (mm)
The flexible "C-STRETCH®" sensor (50 mm sensing area) is attached to the object to be measured, and 0.5 mm of the sensor is attached to the object to be measured. Measurement can be made in 1 mm increments.
(2)Compact and easy to install
The flexibility of the "C-STRETCH®" sensor allows it to follow the body easily, and the transmitter can be made smaller than current R&D kits, allowing it to be used in wearable applications.
(3) Application development environment
An application development environment is available, allowing customers to develop and use their own applications.

With the launch of C-STRETCH MEASURE, the current C-STRETCH KIT-BT01 will be discontinued as of April 30, 2022, and the two types of replacement sensors (F30KK01/F50KK01) will be discontinued as of October 31, 2022.
