Bando Chemical Industries, LTD.(Headquarters: Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture) has announced that it will temporarily suspend sales of its Ceptor™-Ⅹ Plus toothed belt for heavy loads, which it began selling in September 2021, on May 31, 2023, because it has been found that the belt does not perform as expected under certain operating conditions. We have therefore decided to temporarily suspend sales of Ceptor™-X Plus, a toothed belt with high load capacity, as of May 31, 2023.

We have already provided an explanation to customers to whom we have sold this product, and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We are currently developing an improved version of this product in consultation with our customers. As soon as the development of the improved product is completed, we will separately announce the resumption of sales.

We will continue to develop new products in order to meet the higher quality and diversified requirements for toothed belts against the background of higher precision and output of various machines.

The impact of this matter on the Company's consolidated financial results is negligible.
