Synchronous belts with high positional accuracy are required for accurate separation of drug quantities in equipment such as tablet packaging machines, and in some cases, the back face of a synchronous belt with a protruding profile is used to feed (conveyance) the drug in small portions by dose. Synchronous belts with projecting profiles on the back face are used.
BANCOLLAN™ Long Synchronous Belts (LSB-U) can also be profiled on the back face and are made of resin that conforms to the Ministry of Health and Welfare Notification No. 370 regarding food hygiene and has passed extraction tests based on FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) Section 177.2600.
