Safety Tips
Attention
- Do not intentionally bend or compress the transmission belt.
- If oil, moisture, chemicals, paint, etc. adhere to the drive belt, it can lead to a reduction in transmission capacity and early damage
- The transmission belt and pulleys may be quite hot immediately after rotation. Do not touch them until the temperature has been reduced
- If the primary and secondary pulleys are not fitted properly (e.g. misalignment), early damage may occur. The transmission belt should be replaced by an authorised dealer of the vehicle or by a person with the necessary skills.
- When replacing the transmission belt, please check the wear of the firstly and secondary pulleys. And also check the damage and motion of other clutch components. If the overall motion status of the CVT is irregular, the required mileage may not be satisfied and earlier damage may occur.
Danger
- Removing the transmission belt may cause other mechanisms to start moving. Check the status of the surrounding components before starting the replacement procedure.
- Do not use the transmission belt for purposes other than its transmission function, e.g. for lifting or burning.
